Bit-Alchemy is a 546 bitcoin-artifact collection that traces bitcoin’s alchemical transformation from formless potential into formed material. Organized through the three dimensions of Depth, Height, and Breadth, the collection unfolds across twenty-one alchemical operations, each containing one Formed Bit-Artifact and twenty-five Formless Bit-Artifacts. Bit-Alchemy materializes the bitcoin in the Formed artifacts by locking it to a Bitcoin Mint address derived from the woodgrain pattern in a physical woodblock coin. This address generation process proves that the bitcoin is fixed and defined to a material referent and no longer free to circulate as abstract virtual value. The address generation algorithm is publicly inscribed as a verifiable standard under satoshi 1978990447336900. Released one operation at a time, Bit-Alchemy unfolds as a sequence of twenty-one transformations. This parent inscription is the root of the collection. Its philosopher’s-stone geometry establishes the symbolic order of the project: circle, triangle, and square; depth, height, and breadth; digital potential made materially real.
