The debut collaborative Rune Art collection featuring renowned artists, each contributing a series of 10 unique 1-of-1 artworks, all revolving around the concept of time. Every artwork is linked to a single Rune token ticker with a supply of 100 collectable tokens - ‘ArtNodes’. Each 'TIMESTAMPS' artist explores the intersection of Bitcoin and the concept of TIME through the lens of their art. To represent the stylistic variety of art on-chain, it was important to select artists with diverse backgrounds and aesthetics. Fun Fact: Satoshi Nakamoto often referred to blockchain as ‘Timechain’ - being that decentralized timestamping is a fundamental element of the technology itself. As a gesture to this, the ‘TIMESTAMPS’ collection explores how Bitcoin can be used as a medium on a deeper level, exploring the concepts of timestamping, distribution and what it means to create art on-chain.
