Ambi aka Irina Koksharova is a multidisciplinary ambidextrous artist and photographer from Ukraine. With the background of artistic work in watercolor and acrylic mediums since 2014, she developed the skill of drawing with both hands in 2020. The collection of ambidextrous continuous line art "Beautiful Bodies" was her first body of work minted on eth in 2021. Due to the war in Ukraine, Irina had to relocate in 2022 and is currently based in Portugal. In her work, Ambi explores different physical and digital creative mediums, often mixing them together to express her ideas. Artistic name Ambi comes from "ambidextrous" as simultaneous drawing with both hands became Irina's signature style. To achieve more texture and expression, she incorporates physical objects such as gemstones and paper sculpture in her paintings and ambidextrous work. Combining physical art with photography and digital illustration Ambi takes them to the peak of layering meanings, evokes profound emotional responses and conveys intricate stories.
